Meh, only managed a couple of miles of it before 3 ladies (our of our group of 5) said they couldn't keep up anymore and dropped off, so just ended up running 5.5 miles with another lady. It's a shame there aren't more people who are just a mid speed in the club. It's either super fast, or super slow. Still, nice run

Just a wee update. I'm up to 11.5 miles at the moment. Had some trouble with my knees/legs and eventually had to get new trainers. It hampered my progress slightly, but I'm back on form now.

3 weeks to go until the big day and I'm really looking forward to it. So much so that I've already signed up to another half marathon on 13th December. I figured it'd do me good to have something to keep me focussed through the winter. I had this weekend off due to a beer festival, but I'm hoping to do 13 miles next weekend. I know I don't need to do the full mileage, but I want to. I'll then start tapering

I've even shocked myself. OK, I'm not the speediest person in the world, but I'm not slow either!

Just entered the world's first Kilomathon which is next March. 26.2km between Notts and Derby. It's a nice distance to aim for after my half marathons. Only a week to go now... EEK!!!

I bought myself some running shoes today. No excuses - just gotta get out there and do it!!!

Yep you have. Remember, start of slowly with small distances. Run/walk if you have to and gradually build up your distance. Good luck!

Just want to get it done now. I've got my race number, done my final big run and am all ready. I've suddenly filled up with snot over the last 12 hours, but I don't feel bad so it should be fine.
