The thing is maybe it worked there, but would it work in most places? I know if I was forced to do it (which I know they couldn't but just for the case of example) I would either pull a sicky, or if it was to be a long term thing I would leave my job.

But I'm not convinced it was the naked thing that actually made things work though. They obviously didn't air everything which happened during the week and something tells me the whole week of this awesome resolving business dudey involved much more than just the whole getting naked thing. I'm sure the other things he did with them/the discussions he had and the interaction they had, as well as heightened awareness they needed to get their butt into gear and now was the time to air any problems... I think this was what got them going. I don't understand how a day of nakedness will help a business move forward! The getting naked was just a shock and distraction... which I'm sure could have been replaced with something else I'm sure! Even bungee jumping or abseiling or maybe even a day of rafting or something daft! There's extreme and there's extreme.
I think he said at the beginning he's sorted out many work places with different techniques but had never done the naked thing before... so to me it was all a big publicity stunt! For the company and the dudey of resolving goodness I guess I don't like things like this though so I would be all uppity over it |
