Various little tid bits of info I've picked up while having a read around. It is essentially a collection of links showing what is going on with the jogglers at the moment. I haven't explained everything below but you should see the current state of play by looking at the links yourselves. Soooo much info on this:-
First there is this:- http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/06/f...npage_engadget So, this looks like there will be a bucket load of cheap tablets incoming. Linux on the joggler:- http://magician.gforums.de/wiki/inde...E_Installation http://wiki.maemo.org/Mer/Status/O2_Joggler www.joggler.info/forum <- latest dev stuff going on there jogglerhacks.blogspot.com Also Ubunto MID Edition? Talk of adding a hdd to the joggler due to having the header on the PCB #1376 http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/64600...e-app-?page=92 Apparently the chinese are a lot further forward having managed to get 2.5" hdds running from it. Latest firmware DOES NOT disable ubuntu install http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/64600...e-app-?page=75 Touch screen works as well post #1114 Also work on getting android installed:- http://hackthejoggler.freeforums.org...oted-t121.html http://www.androidx86.org/ The Joggler is essentially a rebranded one of these:- http://www.openpeak.com/OpenFrame.php The next openpeak / joggler? http://news.softpedia.com/news/OpenP...y-138447.shtml More on the successor:- http://www.slideshare.net/motiondyna...etguycolumncom Interesting that it has HDMI output, BT, cardreader and a battery. |

Tempted. Photo frame and internet radio will do me nicely if they last more than 10 minutes.
If my leg holds out I may try the local store tomorrow. Any ideas when the offer expires? |

You are very unlikely to get one instore. I think the offer runs till the 15th. I ordered mine online in the end.
I'm actually tempted to get another just as a net radio in the kitchen, even normal net radio's are more expensive then this! (£80 ish). |

Aye - I'll probably get one online but worth checking first, just in case. Don't tempt me with a second one.
