I might go see it. It'll be the first one I've seen since the first, and the only one at the cinema.

3D is pointless. Everyone else will just have to see it how I do.

That was superb, the best of the Harry Potter films so far. I've heard critics saying that some of it dragged a bit but it didn't feel like that to me.

There were tears in my eyes at the beginning when Hermione was erasing her parents memory of her and removing herself from the pictures.

Some good drama and some cracking comedy moments, the acting was much improved over previous films and Emma Watson seems to have tamed her eyebrows as well.

Can't wait for the next one and I really don't care about the lack of 3D. I'd rather the next one was released in 2D anyway.

I did have opening night tickets, in the best seats Lincoln Odeon has to offer, but then I discovered that the money needed to pay for the tickets was not in the bank. I was not happy

Brilliant. It's clearly not a stand-alone film, nor is it a straight portrayal of the book, but it sets up the sequel brilliantly for film goers and and book fans equally. Smatterings of humour and a fair wedge of emotionally intense drama too - left me itching for July

Unlike the other films, there didn't seem to be any parts that weren't in the book, which I quite liked - although of course they had cut a few bits out!

Loved the comedy bits - the dancing and random comments.

I think this was a film that you really needed to read the book beforehand - Phil didn't 'get' a lot of it, he said things like 'they seemed to move around the country randomly' and he found it quite boring.

Just me found it a bit tedious then? I appreciate that it's basically just setting up the next film they seemed to forget to put a story into this one. I guess it's different if you've read the books but if you haven't there just seemed to be a whole lot of not much happening.

First time I've been to the cinema in ages (certainly since the current 3D fad kicked off) and it was disappointing to see the number of shots that were blatently only there for the 3D impact.
