Have you seen the price of the second hand Apple TV2s?

I bought mine initially for £70 and sold it a couple of weeks ago on eBay for £165! With the money, I bought myself an Apple TV3 from eBay for £82 and the rest was a nice profit.

The ATV3 can't be jailbroken and as all my media is in iTunes, I have no need for a jailbreak so I'm quids in and I have an upgraded box.

I'm a complete noob. I don't think the raspmc partition fills my 16gb card. Is there a way to resize it??

Oh, maybe it is using all the space. Just now need to work out how to get some media onto the SD card - will I need to install linux onto windows computer to connect to pi??

The official xbmc remote on android doesn't seem to want to work which is a pain. I'm going to try and get iPlayer and all installed tomorrow and test it all out!

Due to changes in xbmc the old web interface has been removed.

Try using Yatse instead. Works great for me and my pi.

Got yatse- thanks! Also when I connected the pi to tv via hdmi, the tv recognised xbmc as a CEC thing so the tv remote controls it! Also plugged the pi into the tv's usb port for powering it. Blooming amazing! Got a wireless dongle on order and may try and get live tv set up. If it goes well I may even set up a HDD for recording onto. Very impressed!!!

Its been done. ATV3 jailbreak will be available for download by the end of this month.....apparently.
