You're not joking there. Having just jumped out of the DSLR market, I might jump in to this market. Especially with my current monitor showing some not so good signs recently.

We'll see.

I am not in any way miffed that 2 weeks later I could have got it for £100 less , doh! Still its a cracking screen and at that price its an absolute steal.

Been thinking about this all day (a year or so ago I'd have bought it already, so something's clearly changed in my thinking, which is a good sign).

My heart, as always, says gimme. My brain says do I really need it. The answer to that is no, not yet, but if my current monitor dies (and given that I've had a bit of trouble with it and know there's a problem with the VGA connector - though it's behaving at the moment), then yes, I'll need it - and if I don't get it now, it'll be more expensive later.

Bah. :/

I thought about it some more, but the offer finished early anyway, so I didn't click that buy button.

Think I'd prefer the 2707, but it has to come down in price a lot first.

That'll be the Dell then. And yeah, Zirax's is a 2407. I'm good at recognising those.

Looks like the one to me.

I like the Dell 24" monitors, hence why I have 3 (2 x 2405, 1 x 2407) of them

I do as well - though I don't have room for more than one, so I stepped up a size and got a 2707.

Yep thats the one Paul. I'm gonna have to get a bigger desk as I don't think 2* 24" will fit
