Looks good so far, not seen anyone complain.

Hope it doesn't brick mine, I'm really looking forward to Double Dragon!

What's all this bricking talk? Can an update brick a console or have you guys got yours chipped or firmware flashed?

Well mine is as vanilla as it was the day I got it. I have heard of updates killing consoles, I'm sure MB will attest to this. His died when it updated playing GRAW2. Just found this digg article.

An update shouldn't brick consoles, but there was one particular update that saw the web flooded with people who applied the update then lost their consoles to the red ring of death. My guess is they altered some status code handling (either added or removed some) and the new firmware was 'panicing' for some reason when it read one. Almost like an unhandled exception in a regular app.

Though I'm no expert, so what the **** do I know

Iirc, that was last springs update, and the 'fall' one wasn't as bad, so hopefully this one will be the same.

[edit]Heh, Major Nelson's blog has been killed

It seems that if you sneeze you can brick the 360 No-one saying they've been bricked on Eurogamer yet.
