Oops, turns out I might have been blaming my flatmates unfairly, apparantly we are only meant to have a 2mb line anyway.

I'm not sure though as I've downloaded at 300kb/s+ quite often for relatively small (~10mb) files.

It's also great for getting movie trailers, game demos and patches, and other stuff that I can just put on a memory stick and take home. Why use my own bandwidth?!
