You would have thought with that many players there would be sufficient demand / money for a pro league.

USA was a bit more understandable, there is just a general lack of interest in the sport so their team only had 2 professional players in it and their 'premier' league is apparently about similar to our ENL1. Given all that I was very pleased to see how relatively well the USA were playing.
