Speaking of this, any way for me to buy it over Steam without a VISA/MC? I have a Maestro Switch card and a huge distaste for PayPal :P
Anyone at university able to confirm whether Steam works over uni networks?

I don't think so. I was really pleased when I saw that Steam takes Paypal.
No idea about the Uni thing.

Hmm.. well EP2 was allright. Irritating as hell in places Spoiler Alert! - Highlight below to read!
strider + magnussons battle in particular End Spoiler Alert! but generally.. I'm not thinking it was worth the cash. Maybe once our net connection is a little less laggy I'll find TF2 to be worth it. Portal is interesting, a good idea for a game but thats probably as far as I'm prepared to go.

If you've not played HL2 or Ep1 before, then the Orange box is fantastic value for money. If you have, and you're only really getting Ep2 and Portal, then it's definitely less so. That's not to say that there's anything wrong with the games - they're both excellent in my opinion, it's simply a matter of whether there's enough there to warrant the money.
There's also TF2, which is failing to impress me so far but I haven't really given it a proper look yet.

Can't wait for this, should be arriving today or tomorrow.
Shouldn't have read the gnome thing though before playing the episode. Doh!

Finished Portal last night in about three hours. Shame it wasn't longer but I really enjoyed the twist towards the end. Something else I wasn't expecting was that it was really funny thanks to the robot woman voice thing. It also had quite a sinister edge to it as well.
I think there's still advanced levels to do though according to the achievements, didn't check.
