Hurrah! I'm alive!!!!!!!!!!
It was a gas chamber type thing, full strength CS pumped in there and then you train through with your hand on the shoulders of the person in front. I smelt and tasted it straight away and we got half way across the car park before my nose was tingling. When we got to the grass the sides of my nose were hurting a bit but people were falling about all over the place. A lot of them were yelling and swearing and I just felt a bit bewildered wondering if I had done it wrong or something!! lol Anyway, it took about 15 minutes outside for everyone to have their eyes open again and we were told to wash ourselves with a lot of cold running water, which I did. MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! Face on FIRE! If they had that pain in their eyes I pity them all, but still, no reaction at all in my eyes. It lasted about a minute, we got changed and that was that. We picked up our clothes this evening and people were getting bad again with it coming off their t-shirts. Me, nothing. I was not popular THEN! We find out that the four of us going to Western aren't even using bloody CS we're using Parva (?) which is pepper spray and affects pretty much everyone, and we'll have training on that when we go there. Apparently it's so awful we don't get that in the face though, result!

You know what that is Pebs, having kids immunizes you against all sort of horrible things. Slugs, nettles, boys...

Just watched Michael Portillo go through this experience (Horizon, BBC2). The effects were rather obvious.

Well done.
Yes, but he's now killed himself (or would have done had someone not stepped in to stop the experiment). |
