HG-100 also includes an alert to remind drivers when they have exceeded the local speed limit.
I wonder where it gets that information from and how it handles the varying speed limits on such roads as the M25 and at roadworks?

In short, I suspect it doesn't. No maps, so it must be a fixed setting.

Okey Kokey, Any other northern monkeys want it for free? before i lose it down the back of the sofa.

As for the speed warning, it doesn't work very well at all really... you pre-set a speed, 70mph for example, and then when you exceed that speed the speedo flashes to show you've exceeded it... Kinda pointless really, you're hardly likely to forget the speed limit for the road you're on. Other than that its a great little gadget.

If nobody wants it, don't throw it away, put it in a box and I'll steal it from you when I next see you and put it in Mrs. Feek's car, it might slow her down!
