Hasn't died yet?! I've spent more time in hospital than the staff. You keep your money and weapons when you die. You lose your weapons when arrested. Annoyingly I wasn't on a mission with LJ. We just went to the strip club and they got arsey when I jumped on stage, so of course I gunned them down.

lucky you. aye, you keep your money, but get charged health care so have to pay to respawn. if you check your stats you can see how much the hospital bills have set you back!

I've died a few times thanks to the law. jumped of a ledge once when running from a chopper and about 8 cars... didn't realise it was about 5 stories high at the time

(can't this bloody rock star social club not display our stats yet? thought that was the whole point... i want to browse mine whilst i can't be adding to them!)
