Ah ok I was thinking it would be loading in like 30 seconds or something

I don't have that many old games anyway but it's still a PIA that you have to put the disc in the machine, why don't you just play it from the DVD in that case. You should be able to load the entire game onto the HD and not have to keep the disc in the tray

It'll be quicker between loads in games as opposed to loading up games, which is where I believe the real impact will be.

Ah, but then you could pass the disc to me, I could pass it to someone else... and so on. They need to make full retail titles available on marketplace for that to be feasible I reckon.

Yeah having to keep the disc in ruins the point a little. I wanted to be able to be lazy and not have to move to change games
Can see why they've done it though.

I can honestly say that I've never had a pirated console game in my entire life. Always bought originals and never even had my Playstation or original Xbox chipped.

I've got a chipped PS1, chipped it long after its demise but that was so I could buy US games that would work on it, but in the end I never got round to it.
Doubt I'd ever chip my 360 though, quite happy with what I've got

I actually have a US imported Playstation game.
Marvel vs Street Fighter IIRC, that was excellent. Always preferred their standard CD case size cases.

I have a modded Xbox 1 which I used for the media capabilities and installing my own games to.

I'm a bit wierd like that.

I also had a 360 with a modded firmware which got banned in short order and I can no longer be bothered.
