No you're fine, you can still save and do other things after coming out of Raven Rock, it's not the end the game at all

The only thing you can't do after Raven Rock is done is go back to Raven Rock to get the bobblehead, much in the same way with Vault 101 after you do the 'Trouble on the home front' mission. You can continue with any other mission you wish after Raven Rock is exited.

I've completed Fallout 3 twice now. First time i missed a load of side missions. So i had to return to it and get the whole experience. It's a superb game but the DLC is too short and lacks depth. Operation Anchorage especially. The Pitt was just far too short. It also made me feel "travel sick". Which the main game never did and making an achievement "Find 100 Steel Ingots", God damn! Low blow! I eventually got there though!
Hurry up the last bit of DLC and prove me wrong! |

I'm at around 65 Steel Ingots now, only looked outside where you're told to go, so whether there are some in the main area where you enter I don't know. Also can't find the key to enter building in the Steel Yard and I'm guessing there are some in there.
Personally I LOVE the environment for The Pitt, I think it's superb, but I am worried that if I give up on the Steel Ingots it will be over quickly and finding them is extending my enjoyment of the DLC. I also liked Operation Anchorage as it felt so different from the main game, it was quite an enjoyable little side and brilliant for levelling up. I expect Broken Steel to be superb though, they made it clear with the level cap being heightened that, that was going to be the big one of the three. There will also be more DLC after Broken Steel which is great news too . |

How very annoying, I can't find where I read, but it was a quote from some Bethesda bod that said that the team have thoughts far beyond Broken Steel on what to do for Fallout 3 and that it's not a stretch of the imagination for there to be more.
The only problem is, I can't find it. I'm 100% certain I didn't imagine it either. |
