I still need to clear out some of the demo's and arcade games I don't play. My main problem is that I download demo's that look good and then forget to play then. I must have about 10 demo's there I've still yet to play.

Slightly O/T but what ports are there on an Xbox 360 Arcade, 20gb, 60gb and Elite Versions. My friend at work thinks it's only the Elite that has HDMI & Optical out

They all have HDMI now, only the Elite comes with the dongle to get optical out. If you want that on the other models you have to buy the official HDMI cable pack which comes with one.

It does output 5.1 over HDMI though
