Currently in work enjoying Youtube now that the council have given myself and the rest of the techs free reign over the internet and nothing is blocked any more. Also playing with VMware and trying to set up a virtual server and a workstation to connect to it. Just keeping myself busy as there's really not a whole lot to do currently.

It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Very bizarre - one of those things you do once... especially when the bill came to £40 :/ and that was with a non alcoholic cocktail which was a fiver!

The waiters are all blind people so they work the darkness better than seeing people and they guide you everyway, but it must be very frustrating for them as this is their life but to us its a 'novelty'

Very interesting evening... then we went to Tinseltown 24 Hour Diner for milkshake!!

I read in a magazine not too long ago about a restaurant where they give you headphones and you choose sounds to listen to during your meal - like the seaside and stuff like that. Sounded interesting.

I'm looking forward to getting off the rig on Thursday and home on Friday. Have ordered Tesco stuff to arrive Friday evening and have plans for Saturday night and Sunday. Beyond that, not much - just chillin' for the first week home probably.

Busy busy busy busy. Guardian wants a TON of shots for some article they're doing on Liverpool. I think I'm going to have to take the whole of Wednesday off to sort things. Hopefully my sister will be ok with that as she's covering the gallery. Still a fair amount of stress and it doesn't help things when I read about a recent horror stories regarding the Guardian n copyright. Oh my gawds its cold too.

I just got IDed in tescos for a bottle of wine - where they have the "Think 21" policy, she said I was borderline (or maybe I looked like I needed cheering up...)

I'm sitting hear spamming trying to get my mate out of my mind. I found out at the weekend that she died of an OD & it's been on my mind ever since. She was my Madonna, That won't mean much to you lot but i have a habit of associating X girlfs with famous people. Kim had a body & hair like maddy & bought me that Silver book maddy done years ago with the pics in it. She was a lovely decent girl with proper parents & as i think back now we would sit cuddled up on her bed in her pink room that hadn't changed since she was a little girly getting proper wasted, Of course normal people would have been playing tunes or doing homework but not us we had other places to go
Her Ma would shout her from the bottom of the stairs and have a tray of Tea & Bickys for us the whole scene is so surreal now when i look back on it.
Now she is another name on my long list of dead people i once new loved & cared for

R.I.P. Kim.
How can something so beautiful live such a tragic life & die so young. Love Malc.
