What a tragic waste.

I got back from a rather long day at work about an hour ago. Left just before 5am for Castleford (just north of Wakefield I think). Did a full 8 hour shift (with the threat of a HSE visit hanging over, and I found half the kit on site was out of calibration

) then home again.

Me tired...

edit: HSE = Health and Safety Executive btw

And they can cause big trouble if they find anything wrong with an asbestos removal project. And being that this is a big job in a hospital that's still active, and is pipe lagging which is one of the worst to remove...).

This lunchtime I thought I would go to Spitalfields market to look for some birthday presents... but I found:

And the biggest chook in the world!!!

There was also a donkey and a shetland pony

sooo cute!

Really made me smile this lunchtime

I think because I couldn't remember the last time I saw a farmyard animal...probably when I was a kid

actually no... Chester zoo.. meh! OK so it made me think of farm trips at school

lol!

Tonight, I shall mostly be sniffling, coughing and dribbling, due to an illness caught during the "Goose's family trip to highlight that I'm the only single person in the family" weekend.

Got back home this morning. I'm absolutely knackered due to silly flight times etc so I'm off to bed soon - hopefully be fit and able for some fun tomorrow.
