Can't wait till the NXE is released tomorrow, as it'll be nice to see a friends list full of sleeping and awake avatars, rather than just a random blank avatar. I tend to use the Guide button friend list at the minute as it's easier to use to see who's online.

It's my one problem with the interface that I've seen. While it is very pretty, it's nowhere near as functional as the current list - the guide version will be much better for seeing who's doing what at a glance at least.
Hoping it sneaks out a little earlier tomorrow so I can nab it before work, it's bound to get busy when the yanks hit it. Cant wait now though, been waiting long enough

I'm looking forward to finally seeing what it's like
I'll get it as soon as it's available.

I'm quite looking forward to ... subconciously typing exactly what Haly just wrote... doh. I do wanna see the avatars in action though I do wonder wtf the point is in making them burp and little else. I want a Black and White style hand of god. Slap them, tickle them, fluff em up in preparation for avatar based sex games.

Yep, and if you get too close to them, you bump their head with the 'camera'
There's probably a few little things like that around

Cool, great feature. I often leave my DVD tray open so I can browse the marketplace or something before getting into a game. Nice that I won't have to do that now.
