In typical PC style the Games for Windows client adds the DLC into the wrong place on your hard disk, so Fallout on Steam fails to see it. You have to copy the damn thing over to the steam directory except I can't see the DLC files fullstop atm.
Sigh, sometimes I wish I stuck to consoles. Not content with EVERY F3 DLC not installing to the correct F3 directory on Steam, Broken Steel is now bugged in that it displays a Cryptography error message during any attempt to install. 360 version seems unaffected. http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/in...p?showforum=52

Harsh but funny
I've got my copy downloaded but not sure when I'll be playing it.

360 version is apparently borked too
Update: Spoke too soon! Xbox 360 users are experiencing a nasty bug that keeps them from activating Project Purity

That is pretty embarrassing. They need to take a serious look at their release testing!

Yay! Knew some more would be coming. Time to hit level 30 on all 3 karma paths and then re-start to try and build a perfect character before the new DLC arrives

Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. |
