No one's mentioned Californication which actually as of the 3 season might be one of the most cleverly well written and filmed tv series i've ever had the pleasure to watch, totally serious on that!

Season 1 and 2 were good in their own right for wasting time watching but it just got better and better as time went on, 3rd season was just phenomenal.

Other than that, i LOVE LOVE LOVE House (which although still excellent took a dive around season 4/5 but right back up there as of 6), Breaking Bad and Dexter are simply amazing as well, and i've also enjoyed Secret Diary of a Call Girl recently, and Outnumbered is easy watching obvious funny kid/adult combo

Tried "Supernatural"?

Think "Buffy" with actors that can act and writers that can write and you're on the right track.

The Jeremy Kyle Show

It's like the Jerry Springer show but British and with less horses, midgets and pixellated areas. Really entertaining with some fantastic, classy guests. They're usually doing a lie detector or paternity test which makes me so excited for the next episode! It's great, it's just like going down to the chavviest shopping centre you can find and just people-watching - but from the comfort of your own front room! Y'all should watch it, I think you'd like it.

The Kill Point - my all time favorite series, watched it 4 or 5 times. I don't do that with other series.

Outnumbered - new series starting on Thursday
Quote:
A part-improvised comedy about a couple bringing up their three young children.

The award-winning comedy returns, as Gran takes the Brockman family for a day's sightseeing in London. Karen is unimpressed with modern art, Jake suffers serious trauma when he is unable to text, and one of the family uses a visit to HMS Belfast for a brief re-enactment of World War II.

How Not to Live Your Life
Sitcom about 20-something Don, a man with bad luck and even worse instincts.

Sons of Anarchy - New series starting soon on bravo. Far prefer this to the big American series.
A man in his early 30s struggles to find a balance in his life between being a new dad and his involvement in a motorcycle gang.

Need a new series to watch thinking maybe Jericho. Heroes I've been watching and enjoy, 24 is good but same every series, lost I got bored after series 3. BSG was ok, SGU is pretty good.

OMG S01E1 of the Shield is amazing! If the whole story arc is anything like the first ep this could become one of my favorite series of all time

Watched the first 8 episodes of the Shield last night, I just couldn't get enough of it, they have made all the characters interesting, flawed but likable and even the ones you should hate you wouldn't want to lose from the plot lines, very clever
