Yeah, I knew it was gonna be full retail, still a little worried about the supposed need for the legit keys to be eligible but we'll see.

Well that's that 2 from play at full price. But still only a bit more than the others and better for the knowledge of safety.

I take it these wont be dispatched until or around October 26th and that these aren't a few that are ready now so I'll be charged in the morning and have it by next week? I hope not because I won't be able to afford it if that's the case .

Yeah that's where I read, though what has me concerned is the wording of 'eligible', not 'required'.
I would imagine i'm worrying for nothing and it'll just be a standard retail DVD but it's still a niggle at the back of my mind. @Nokkon, it's released October 22nd I think, so you won't get it til then.

Going to suggest my parents upgrade too during the offer. I know their PC will run it (I specced it).

No it isn't, because that page has expired. That's why I had to use Google Cache to grab it. You most likely read it on the UK site which, like I said, is a copy/paste from the US site where the products are different (they don't have the 'E' restrictions). We'll find out on release day, but as you said, you can flog it (or 'borrow' someone else's legit CD/key).

I see OcUK deleted the thread about Windows 7 preorders, presumably because OcUK aren't selling it and so people are asking for competitors
Hope they prune it and replace it, there was a lot of useful info in there.
