Project A is one of Jackie's best I reckon and a good example of where Hong Kong cinema can be quite similar to the old silent comedies.
The dubbed version I saw (official release) was about 30 mins shorter than the subbed version.

I'd say Drunken Master 2 or Wheels on Meals is probably my fave JC flick

The Happiness Of The Katakuris

A very bizzare Japanese horror musical, worth it for the scene with the sumo wrestler and his girlfriend.

Bubba Ho-Tep - I'd forgotten how much I love this! Elvis in a nursing home fighting an egyptian mummy.

Blue Juice - Another of my favourite films. I'm a stickler for british comedies. Sean Pertwee and Catherine Zeta-Jones in a surf movie.

'tis a great film but then it stars the Chin, the legend that is Bruce Campbell so how could it possibly fail?

I first saw this on TV about 15+ years ago, I nearly turned it off thinking "flipping heck what a boring pile of steaming dog turd", after the first 20 mins then it went all-kinds of awesome.

I'd forgotten all about Blue Juice, remember watching it years and years ago and loving it, it starred Ewen McGregor as druggie didn't it?

Purely Belter - cracking British film set in Newcastle about a lad doing everything he can to get a season ticket for the footy. Funny, heartbreaking and brilliantly acted. Stars almost every famous Geordie actor going and has Shed Seven on the soundtrack. Superb.

I watched that with a group of friends the year before last. Everyone bar me and one other person left the room and refused to come back in until that scene was over.
