Probably, but no-one ever pinned the murder on him - except the media. There's a very good reason Police didn't confirm the identity of those they arrested, and the media just blew that away. If he's under police protection (I hope so), then they should send the bill to whoever broke the story including his identity.

It annoyed me how some of the media covered Tom Stevens. He has/had a Myspace account in which his handle was "The Bishop". The media bloody pounced on that straight away, making pathetic assumptions that his name may reflect a sacrilegious nature to the murders. Everybody on myspace has nicknames.

It's like me being arrested and saying, "Craig's domain name was metrix.co.uk. We can only assume he believed in the Matrix, or some other sick belief."
