Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. |

Given that they're films rather than documentaries, with the typical Hollywood take on such things, I can't blame you for finding them less than realistic in some ways Kitten.
But having said that, I found them a lot more realistic/credible than most other films in the genre. And I really enjoyed them too, to the extent that I'm gonna get them on DVD when I see tham at my kind of price

The third film reveals why he's an assassin. If I try and explain it though it'll spoil it. Although it sounds like you might not be watching it anyway!

I can't believe I missed this thread the first time round, Bourne <film title here> are all quite good but I found all of them ultimately a little unsatisfying compared to James Bond. They just don't have that spark (perhaps of humour/self deprecation) that makes Bond watchable so while Bourne is competent in a series of films it isn't something I would be likely to bother watching more than a couple of times while I've seen most of the Bonds a good 4-5 times each. Perhaps I'd feel differently if they hadn't been built up so much, I've got a fairly large contrary streak in me, also known as being an awkward sod.
