Sims 2, awesome!!!
Is there a 360 sims game? Had that on the gamecube, but we kinda fell out of the habit of going to work then coming home and playing going to work

Still playing Splinter cell 4.. I'm really enjoying this game. I love sneak 'em ups. There's really sod all coming out on PC at the moment.... STALKER is due this week but that's about it. I pick up PCG every month and nothing... nothing noting bloody nothing!! Then you hear about the console games coming out.. and I have to admit I've been very tempted to buy GOW for 360.. Halo II out on PC in May - Whooppe doo! just as the OTB gamers will be enjoying Halo3..

It's the way things are going really. I expect PC games to become largely ports of 360 code (because as I understand it, porting between the two is relatively easy), bar the odd hardcore point and click franchise. Hardly my field of expertise though I'll admit.
Personally, with the way things are going I don't even consider graphics power important to my PC usage any more, I just want it to be quiet and run aero.

oh I don't doubt it at all... It's what MS wants.. a uni-platform but it's not going to happen all the time they hold games back.. despite the extra effort that may be required to port the code.. I would like to see proper road maps for games.. However, like COD3, I doubt we'll ever see many of the 360 games on PC. Which is a shame.

I've just picked up Test Drive Unlimited for the PC - I've seen it described as an MS Flight Simulator for driving games. Sounds ideal, just cruise around a bit with some tunes on.

I occassionally go through bouts of Sims 2 addiction, it's a fun game and certainly well designed. Oh and I've played Pokemon Blue and did like it Just the others always seemed so similar :/

It's a sort of first-person shooter with strategy, similar in some respects to Deus Ex. You have to complete missions in the wastes surrounding the Chernobyl incident where strange mutant creatures have started appearing and radioactive anomalies occur. I've barely touched it yet but so far have got myself a shotgun and some food and banadages and have some missions to complete. It's interesting in that your gun will deteriorate over time and start jamming, so you have to find a new one, amongst other realistic annoyances. You have an inventory system very much like Deus Ex and can search dead people for new stuff. The graphics are slightly less impressive than Half-life 2 in my opinion but hopefully it'll become more emersive and that won't matter so much. Quite enjoying it so far!
