I really can't believe you're thinking of getting a Mini with 3 kids

And room for bugger all else
I know the girls aren't babies any more so Karyn isn't carting lots of stuff around with them, but still. I'd not entertain a Mini with one child, let alone 3 Also, Karyn is stepping down from a huge vehicle. How much is that size used when you don't really realise it? Obviously this is all guess work on my part as I have no idea. I just can't see it being a good move.

Slightly off-topic, but meh. I know next to nothing about cars, except that Minnie rocks and I can't blame you for wanting one. I keep seeing one down the road from here that has the same colour scheme as Minnie but it's an S and has a sunroof. Still caused a WTF moment the first time I saw it.
PS - if you do get one, best not be trying this at home... |

LOL! Stop being so practical Desmo!!!
There is a plan. Ish. MtE is getting a 'normal' car, we will both be insured on both cars. My car now gets used for the school run, for shopping and thats it (and it'll be a car to get to work in). I've thought and thought about what I use it for and that really is it. The only time I use the second row of seats is if all 5 of us are doing a long journey and I can't bear the thought of hours of squabbling so they get seperated. 5 of us simply won't fit in a Mini so it'll never be an issue. The only other time I use it is when someone needs a big car, like the booze cruise. Not really a realistic reason to keep a big car. Currently I'm using MtE's escort as it's far cheaper to run than mine. I don't think I've yet put anything in the boot. That said, if it really is too tiny, I won't get one. I can't really remember how small they are inside.

Specwise that car is very similar to mine, it even has the HK stereo, the leather and the multi function wheel which gives you cruise control.
Should still have 'tlc' too so £300 give you an extra 3 years of services, nice car MB |

But if it does look tight, I guess one could always buy a roof rack and a selection of straws, one being shorter than the rest |
