The ink goes between layers of the skin and unless they were really going at it or a poor tattooist there is very little bleeding and a low likelihood of hitting anything of importance, getting a piecing is more invasive for this. Tattooing is like a skin graze, as long as you treat it well it will heal up no problem. Can't say anything about mum's, my mum really dislikes tattoos every time i go i tell her i'm going and every time she says that she wishes i wouldn't. But then she accepts that i'm an adult and can anoint myself with whatever colourful or shiny additions i like. Plus i get to freak her out with them afterwards, always fun |

not tattoo news - but if all goes to plan, i'm getting my belleh button pierced later! (i.e. if she has some blackline jewelry in, can't be doing with that shiny silver nonsense if it has to stay in for 4-6 months )
i presume people on here have had this done already (it's a pretty popular piercing) i'm just bit worried about the aftercare and how long the healing time is likely to be! lets hope this one doesn't get me back in to my addiction - i can't afford it! *waits patiently for huddy photos to appear* |

Thats exactly what they're for! You're the first to realise It was either stars or paw prints, which also have a very emotional meaning to me. I may still get them elswhere.

noo! I knew that too I prefer the stars to pawprints for the girls, maybe you can get the pawprints done for your animals or something
