Callling someone a "fat pig" is simply never acceptable whether they are a man or a woman. OcUK has a high proportion of male members but I bet if Mr UK has a beer belly and was posted up on a forum with a high proportion of female members a lot of the comments would be the same but with the gender roles reversed.

You see this wasn't really what annoyed me personally, of course its fine that people don't find her attractive or anyone else for that matter, the point is the excesive language which is used to describe her and that fact that the thread was obviously designed to take the mic, not to have a structured debate on the merits of someone who is not the normal size for a Miss England style competition entering the competition.

As far as Mr England is concerned I doubt you would get quite the same reaction from the majority of women, my suspicion is that they'd be more interested in meeting the candiates and judging them on their personalities and sense of humor whilst factoring in looks as well, with that in mind I'm still not entering, no matter how much pleading is done by the female members here
