Anyone watch the programme then? All in all it shows that lap dancing is nothing more than a cover for prostitution in the UK. I believe there is a channel 4's equivalent to the iplayer. Anyone keen on it can check it out.

I'd say that's a bit of a strong conclusion to come to. All it showed me was that of the 3 places they showed, it was possible to get more than a dance. How many clubs did they go to where nothing extra was offered?

Im pretty sure it would be selective journalism, theres one in my local town that i go into now and again as the beer is cheap and the naked ladies dont hurt, ive never had a dance in it and wouldnt either.

Ive never had the impression they offer anything other than dances, same as the one i was in at Cardiff. Heck, even the one i went to in Amsterdam didnt offer anything like that.

It was very very much selective journalism. They wanted a sensationalist program and made sure they got one.

Of course there are going to be girls who offer more than a lap dance, that's a given. I can guarantee they didn't show the vast majority of their findings and concentrated on the outrageous stuff as otherwise the show would have been very dull indeed.

I know a lot of girls who work in clubs and they don't do half of what that program showed because they don't need to. There are also very strict rules in some of the clubs about how close you are allowed to get and where you are allowed to touch the customer. One of my friends makes money from lapdancing where she keeps all her clothes on! She's incredibly good and has even got men to pay for 2 dances even though they know she's not going to take a stitch off!

I paid for one, it was excellent too. The girl was smoking hot dressed up in an outfit, losing her clothes to the music, eventually gyrating on me fully naked.

It's just different, that's all.

Any one of the ones i've been to, if you tried propositioning the dancers the bouncers would have you out the back for a hiding before you could even try and deny it.

I'm not going to bother watching it, no point if theres no bush on show

seriously though, if you really want to find out what its like instead of relying on a tv program then go and visit one with a friend or two, go to a decent upmarket place - if you don't enjoy it then don't stay but at least you will be able to form your own opinion

by the sounds of it the tv show focused on the seedier places

the only ones I have visited that offered extras was in Prague
