Ok me again.... so I am organising a Team Building conference which is next thursday... it consists of Venue hire, hire of rooms x6 dinners, evening entertainment and treasure hunt the next day.
So two weeks ago they tried to cancel the whole thing... I told them it would cost them £10k to cancel and £18k to do so they are going ahead. So basically I negotiated some money off some rooms that we were apparently too late in cancelling. Now they saw they want to keep the evening entertainment and ditch the treasure hunt. Am getting fed up of messing people around and asking them to cancel/deduct things from their costs... at the end of the day 'I' am the one who has to work with the contacts and it doesn't create a brilliant atmosphere. Honestly... PO today! BB x |
