Cool - which one is it? I might evaluate them and see what I think. Then I'll have Desmo's and yours to play with - though maybe not at the same time

Don't they use some kind of static to attach rather than just having a sticky side?

I'm not convinced about the static cling claims, but I have no way of knowing one way or the other. Many do use some form of mild adhesive - I'd probably compare it with what they use for post-it notes.

Rubber on clean glass is always going to have a high coefficient of friction though and mini vacuum created between the glass and rubber.

I guarantee you'll want to play with mine longer, it's far more tactile and just feels... nicer...

There is NO sticky adhesive - it uses static cling adhesion. As I said I've taken one off after 6 months. Trust me, it just peels off like a car sticker when you want to take it off leaves no trace.

No, but by the nature of surface tension and the large surface area only a very mild adhesive is needed.

They're plastic sheets with a very mild, and relatively fluid, adhesive
