Played the PS3 version for a good few hours today. Not normally into these sorts of games, but I've paid £10 for a lot worse.

Agree with the odd control method, but I like the low number of maps, as it means quick download times, and they can always add more.

Definitely worth a look.

Every game should just use the CoD4 control's, it would make life so much easier, they are perfect control's in my opinion.

Yeah, I always found the LT(L2) to accelerate and LB(L1) to brake/reverse a little... crazy. It makes zero sense, I was hoping they'd change it. I also dislike not being able to go prone. But those are about the only two things I could really complain about.

I hope they add more maps. I'm really looking forward to playing the 4th match when it gets released in a couple of weeks (the expected date for the 43,000,000th kill).

Best moment for me so far - managed to take out an enemy in a bunker on Mt. Suribachi with a rifle from the Lighthouse!

Awesome!

Yep, can't fault them at all. Shame about the huge auto aim though in CoD4.

That's not that easy at all, well done.
I managed to take out the driver of a jeep driving past with a sniper rifle, was definitely chuffed with that one. Or where I managed to go a whole round without being killed because I hid well in the bushes and just sniped the enemies from across the map.

Well I played the demo for an hour or so and I think it's OK. Not something that I would gush about. Nice eye candy and good use of the game engine. I think the used the wrong map for the demo/trial. A lot of the servers have been 5 v 5 or 5 v 6 and it just ends up a sniper fest on huge map that you don't always feel engaged in the action and it fast becomes a stalemate.

Blow the bridges

Swim across from one side to the other

Snipe the swimmers

Snipe the aeroplanes.

It certainly has potential and I think this will be one to get once I swap out the HDD on my PS3
