Its not that its not important, its just less important than other things at this point, when the kid can climb in on its own we'll be back to something a little more exciting. I didn't find the one I drove particularly engaging but it wasn't totally terrible, I'd be looking at the 2.0 petrol which I think has some go to it.

just spoke to MINI and they would definately want to bid on the car, they don't get many WORKS varients in so she has a premium for being unusual at least.

Ok I hashed my words up a little - what I meant is that all the plus points of the QQ combined, mitigate that particular aspect (i.e. driving experience) enough for it to be a very worthwhile endeavour.

I don't like the QashQai because it's got an ambiguous name. There is no straightforward way to pronounce it and that would bother me. Kwash-kw-what? Cash kay car? Argh my brain

Hmmmm, Just be to look at Kuga and C-Max

C-Max is a definate no, its not a nice place to be, the seats are ugly and so many things are optional extras including; cruise, folding mirrors and climate which pushes the price up to something stupid for what it is which is a chunky Focus.

Kuga is a nice place to sit, it has a lot of the things I want including cruise on the model I looked at. However it is probably too expensive at ~£20k

Might have a look at the Honda Civic, its a bit Marmite but the EX GT looks lovely inside and has everything. Bound to be better build than the Nissan, much lower ride but we could probably live with that.

Oooh - Mazda 5 *if you don't use the back row of seats* or even the CX-7 looks good.

There is a Diseaseal CX7 if you don't want the 2.3 turbo
