Erm...I wouldn't trust speedtest.net it's highly unreliable.

Try downloading from http://gamefiles.blueyonder.co.uk and see what you get.

And even if it is, it's good enough for what she's meant for - an indicative, quick speed for comparison with others.

Well a test that says I have a 2mb connection yet I can download at 1.2 mb/s (which is what I SHOULD get on 10mb) is hardly reliable. Either way, each to their own.

I can go on say tonight and get a result equal to 2mb. I can then go and download at my full speed from a proper source. Sorry I guess I'm just sick of all this speedtest.net stuff. People come on the blueyonder newsgroups raving about their connection due to speedtest.net results...when it's in no way a good representative of actual speeds.

I just wouldn't use it tbh.
