I slept through it I think, but really, why are people so wound up over it? Even people away from the epicentre are spinning it out of control. Do these people have so little in their lives that a minor quake takes top priority. I can understand a bit of excitement just after it, but all through the news today there have been people telling their "INCREDIBLE EYEWITNESS ACCOUNTS" How they "thought this was the end..." and "it's world war 3... " "I'm still shook up by it. It's given me a new lease of life. Live life to the full because you don't know when nature will kill you off" Get a grip for god's sake.

I lived there for periods of 3-6months at a time over 27 or so years (if you add it all up I've probably "lived" there for over 5 years. I've got Greek Cypriot blood in me (father is 1/2 Cypriot) and go there several times a year if I can (I part-own several properties over there as well as being a director of a company out there) so yes I have a lot of ties there. I was even Christened Greek Orthodox! So you can't get more Greek than that really!

Going back on topic, in Cyprus with quite large earthquakes happening - even the old greek ladies were just "meh" about it - actually it's usually the father figure of the family that does all the fasaries (worries/fuss) over it
