I was out last night so missed it, seems it was another perv-fest as usual

Listened to the finnish entry on the BBCi player, a bit too heavy for eurovision but awesome none the less.

Not really, Spain and the other comedy ones were obviously taking the pee, whereas the Uk entry was like another Pop Idol entrant.

No, it probably wasn't the best song there. It was average or a little better. Therefore, taking that literally and removing the politics, it should have come in somewhere around 13th. As it was, it got 8 points from Ireland, 6 from San Marino, and nil points from everyone else. I'd like to see anyone try to justify Spain getting four times that (without reference to politics).

Even if we rolled out the best song in the world, ever, we wouldn't win. Probably wouldn't even make top 10. Time to throw in the towel.

I think we should at least put in one last absolute piss take.

I mean, we are guaranteed a final place, unlike Ireland, so no chance of getting knocked out in the semi's, might as well take advantage and do something awful

If we did really want to win, we'd need to put in a a hot chick with big boobs, as they seemed to fare a lot better when you took the politics out of it.
