I found Hunters to be really hit and miss. Sometimes I'd be standing next to a survivor and I'd either completely miss, or not even pounce at all.

I was starting to get good as a hunter towards the end. On a building/train car and pouncing off/over (or my fave through ) and suprising the lone survivor was great.
Only problem I find with both hunters and smokers is that once you've done your primary attack your helpless until your shot Needs some way to break off the attack so you can pounce/pin/flee and regroup given the lowish health you get.

I liked being the Hunter, especially when I caught Psy on his own as everyone left him and killed him, then I caught Barfmit coming back to investigate and killed him as well
