I would love one, but as i'm sure you're all bored of hearing i can't justify the cost in comparison to the contracts i manage to wangle out of O2. An example would be my last contract, i got a N95 and more mins + texts than i'll ever need for £15/month. To top it all off they threw in £100 cashback which basically meant the first 6 months of my contract were free.
The jump from a normal contract to an iphone one would be painful, a jump from my current contract to it would be upsetting.

For me - money. :/
Thinking things through, I use tethering rarely enough that I can justify foregoing it (or getting a one-off bolt-on when I really need it). We'll see what the end-of-month bonus brings and whether the Quidco deal is still happening then. |

Actually I'm going to wait for the Pre, but cheers for the heads up about the deal Paul

Now looking at Android powered phones too and maybe the Palm Pre.
Having the Touch for a few days has put doubt in my mind about the iPhone, its a good piece of kit and I can see it being even better with the phone part but the cost is exorbitant, I'm dubious about only being able to run one app at a time, what it does it does very well, I really like the screen and things like the facebook app are perfect. I could justify it but only just. MB |

Nice to hear you are considering the Pre MB, I was wondering then if I'd be the only BD user with one

I'll consider anything if the price and functionality are right - including the Pre.
