Looks very nice

I wish I had your good taste (and some money to actually do something )

We had to take out a loan to get the upstairs done and will have to remortgage to get the downstairs done :/ Luckily we do have a very nice chunk of equity to play with

So far the upstairs has cost about 5/6K ... doing all this work isn't cheap

Piggypad cost about 25K !!!

I don't think I have brilliant taste but I do like to go for all creams/neutrals .. I don't think you can ever go wrong with those tones

We already have a loan each and we're only a year into our mortgage :undecided:

I just have to try and remember that both loans finish in 3 years and as long as we can keep an eye on our credit cards, everything will suddenly get a lot easier.

But sometimes 3 years seems like so far away

Wow, looks fab piggy! Decorating can dent the wallet majorly... luckily for us this place only really needs sprucing up as opposed to major renovation.

Though saying that we're considering getting a driveway put in which is going to eat up our savings! D'oh!

Keep the piccies coming and keep up the good work!

I know the feeling, we've got I think 2 loans and 2 credit agreements finishing about March/April time next year and a car loan finishing in June .. by this time next year we won't know what to do with ourselves

The wait is hard though

Thanks Pheebs - I really wish sometimes all this place needed was a lick of paint rather than major work in every room but then it's nice that we're doing it together now - it feels like OUR home rather than me moving into his home

Has everyone seen the before pics or should I post some ?

Of course you have, you chose me

Sticking to a similar range of colours/theme throughout the house actually makes it much easier to do IMO. Most of our colours are very similare with just slight variations as we go. It also helps that our tastes are pretty much the same

I agree. We did the same thing and it worked a treat

I'm sure you'll make it perfect Piggy I was concerned you'd have issues with a small bathroom but it looks really good - well done!
