That is finally changing. All the major players have agreed to standardise on a universal charger form, and it's using mini-USB, and they're transitioning so that new phones will use it. That'll mean that (in theory) you won't have to keep replacing accessories every time.

Universal charger is one thing - seeing as that is something they have to bundle and now will be able to get away with leaving out of packages soon (soon being like 2 years when most people would then have a new style charger).

Whether paid for accessories will take the same route is another matter I suspect.

I had always assumed that accessories would not go the same route and that the manufacturers would put effort into doing just that.

Waiting staff, postmen, supermarket employees and other people in general who don't actually know me but call me 'Mate' or more recently, 'Boss' ?

Along that line, men I dont know calling me "love"

Todays minor gripe, journeys that take 20 mins longer than they should due to other vehicles dawdling about

If you've got a USB port for charging, what would be the point? There will be too much crap coming their way if they tried it.
