Lies, Bourne is 3 for 3. Bond is about 3 for 20+. Bourne is actually hard too, and struggling with his past. Bond for decades was just cheese, at least Daniel Craig is awesome. |

Agreed, all 3 Bourne films were just fantastic. Rare thing for a trilogy to be successful and erm, liked by myself. Great score, not bad acting, excellent story, and Franke Potente *down boy* !
LOTR and Austin Powers are the only other three I can think of. Hopefully Batman and Transformers will follow!

I'd have to disagree, Bourne Identity is really good and the other two are a good but not great although in fairness it is a while since I've watched them so I may be romanticising the first. Daniel Craig is perhaps mildly unfortunate that Quantum Of Solace had a rubbish script, rubbish theme (truly atrocious) and it just felt like a generic action film - in fact it could have been fitted into Casino Royale with a bit more discretion shown at the editing stage.

Even the third one?
The one where the remorseless killing machine cracks out one liners like an end of the pier childrens entertainer? It's like X-Men 3 to me. I have the first two on my shelf and just pretend the third never happened.

Saw Watchmen last night as it was either that or Gran Torino for the third time, or something I knew would be crap like Knowing or The Unborn.
It was ok but I don't think it was anything special. Style had been given massive priority over substance, perhaps relying on people having read it and knowing the story a bit too much. Either 6 or 7 out of 10, can't quite make my mind up. 6.5/10 :P
