Handy to know. Thanks.
So it's official then. ETA on the iPhone - 10th September. One more question as it's pretty much the first app I know I'll need - of the big three navigation apps (TomTom, Co-Pilot, Navigon), what would you recommend (cost aside )? |

Ignoring the cost then I'd say TomTom but I don't think TomTom is massively better than Co-Pilot so if I were buying one I'd go for Co-Pilot.

That does agree with my own thoughts on the subject, thanks.

Why the long wait on the phone? I couldn't stay sane throughout that length of time!!

Stock situation is a bit dire currently. Lots of places are out of stock completely, though I don't know if/how this is impacting Apple themselves.
I'm sure I'll survive. I'll have a problem if I don't get it by the 16th though. |

Have you used Co-Pilot Mark? I think TomTom has a far clearer and easier to use interface, but it's your call

No, I've only used TomTom (my parents') and Garmin (my handheld). Obviously, it'll be mainly for pedestrian use (if it's good enough, I'll probably sell the Garmin).
Looking at accessories already - Might pick up a Chronos iDock alarm clock once the credit card has recovered - two problems with one solution. Will have to bodge the dock connector though as the iDock doesn't technically support the iPhone (it works) and even if it did it probably wouldn't work with the Neo fitted. Most accessories have the universal dock socket where you can plug in the appropriate dock module - The CapsuleNeo comes with it's own dock module so you can use your iPhone with the case in any decent accessory. Very handy.

Thankyou. iDock does have a universal dock, so that's that sorted then (if/when the time comes).
Looking forward to it now, and working out how best to use up the £9.47 credit on my current SIM. |

Send 94 texts to people telling them you're getting a new phone?
