A guy on a forum I'm on just tried to sell these 360's. £250 for an "xtreme" edition with 20 games. My spidey sense went off and I questioned it. He did admit on the forum that they won't work on Live. The cheek! Some poor guy is going to buy one and find out it won't work online and then have to buy another one.

I hate it when people try to do stuff like that :/
I know I'm always 100% honest in my auctions, my conscience is too nice to do anything else

Mine too. He's now posted a thread about the Boots £150 offer. Its so obvious that his box got blocked and needs a new one. Some poor guy is going to get that.

I am seriously considering getting a 360 now. I still have never actually sat down and had a go on one. After playing the Lost Planet demo (PC) I was impressed but its crippled for the PC.

The thought of £45 games really stings though. Still the console and bits ~280ish + 10 games comes to around 700ish (provided I get 10@ £40). Upgrading the pc would be around this mark. Tempting to get one and tweak it to bring the costs down though

On a lighter note....it's here

Still waiting to see about live at the moment, but it has already been updated with the latest stuff and were quite a few games demos downloaded, including this one...

Running at 1080p through component

Only if you get games right at launch, and the power of the web gets you great discounts if you look around. Generally though, one of the things I've been amazed at is how quickly the price of the games drop.

Plus you've got the smaller games on arcade. Few quid each but some of them are stunningly good. I believe Davey once said he'd have paid £30 for Hexic, and I feel the same for a couple of mine. I LOVE Aegis Wing (and that was free!).

Very nice set up

And as Daz said, games drop in price quite quickly for the most part, especially if you shop around. Best options are online, ebay and www.play-asia.com for the region free games, you can get a lot of the newer games for £25 or less from play asia if theyr'e available region free.
Best bet at first is ask on here and I'm sure our collective forces will manage to find the cheapest price humanly possible.

Geometry Wars, but close enough I've put almost as much time into that as I have my "normal" games
