WOW!!!! Forza2 is most impressive
Some of those race cars are touch hard to handle with all the driver aids turned off Not sure I'll get on with dead rising....it does actually make me anxious when I've played it before so not sure I could stick with it. Only had a quick blast on GoW as well which I've played before. Spent a few minutes playing Virtua Tennis 3 which I can't see getting much action as it's not really my thing. GRAW2 is wicked. Spent a little while working my way through the training stages at the start and I'm mightily impressed with it so far. Graphics and atmosphere are great...I just need to spend more time on it so the controls are more instant...I still have to think about every button press right now. I've got the latest Spring Update and a few game demo videos of Halo and Battlefield along with some others. Also been playing the demo of Pitch Black which looks good too. Feels a bit "Starship Troopers" on earth Still finding my way around the dashboard although it's not taking long to do that. Changed my theme and also found the arcade games. Not sure if it's a freebie or if it was already paid for by owner, but I've been playing Hexic....and earnt my first gamer points, hehehe.

Dead Rising does require an 'initial investment', if you like, but it's definitely worth it. Excellent, excellent game.
Weird shizzle with that drive Des btw. You gonna risk a live connection, see if you've been bann0rd?

Not sure about live right now. The box could already be banned...but then it might not.
I think I'll sit on it for a week or two and see what the outcome is. If there's a chance a new firmware can save it then I'll wait. If there's not then I'll jsut take my chances and see what happens

Just make sure you don't get banned before we've had a chance to play Forza online

Well I might already be banned...that's the thing. It's still an unknown at the moment. Although the guy never played backups online, he did use the console online with originals but still with the hacked firmware. People are saying that this might be enough to get the console banned so it's just a case of wait and see.

Yeah, it's still unclear what logic MS are using to find hacked consoles, and if they're logging it on a dashboard, offline level, or directly on live.
Seems like online consoles will prove a great tool in companies fight with the pirates - it comes at a price now. Where before you could chip or soft mod away without consequence, now you're constantly under a threat of service reduction/removal.

If you're feeling brave Des, you can do a connection test (while signed out) and it'll still tell you if you're banned or not - without actually signing in.
I read the theory at the moment is something to do with timings on copied discs :/

Ah, I've seen about this connection test but I thought you'd have to be signed in. I'll give it a go tonight. Will sign out and remove all discs and then run the test and see what happens
