It's definitely worth £10.
As I said before, Battlefield 2 was great and even though it had plenty of maps you were always playing Karkand. This has 2 very good maps (Guadal Canal and Wake Island) and 1 good one (Iwo-Jima). |

There's better value on XBLA though imo, in terms of gaming hours anyway. Graphically it's right up there though for sure.
[edit]Though to be fair, I haven't seen all the maps, so the hours might rise if they're good.

I don't think there is better value, as someone said yesterday in an article, when was the last time your friends list was so dominated by people playing an Arcade game. In terms of online dynamics it's the best Arcade title released so far, it even beat all projections for the time to get 43m kills, doing it in less than half the time of their most positive guess.

I'd have paid £20 for BF1943 and still been ok with it, it's great! They have taken the best from 1942 and retouched it, for £10 you can't go wrong imo.

Still haven't actually managed to get the 360 one online (but i haven't tried in a week so i imagine issues have passed), but i have the PS3. It's great but as with all online shooters i've played in the past couple of years other than Killzone 2, there's no teamwork .

It's still not perfect, my experience actually got worse after I bought it! (yes, I bought it - fits my drop in and out game mood atm).
I got DC'd mid-session twice last night, and both times I had to drop to dash to get back into a game. Also, it lost a lot of my stats, which really ****ed me off. Worth a tenner, not bad value, but there is better (Puzzle Quest...).
