Going back to iPhones, a colleague of mine had his silent button snap clean off his 3-month old phone the other day. He went to the Apple store and they immediately replaced it - didn't even ask any questions.

Apple stores are usually awesome at replacing stuff.
I bought myself a 4Gb Nano (one of the first gen ones) in NYC a few years ago and it would only charge when it felt like it. I took it back to the shop I bought it from and in under 2 minutes from walking into the shop I was leaving with a brand new iPod. |

I do wish we had an Apple store here Sounds like it'd be a lot easier than O2, plus I like looking in them
Congratulations

We have 2 Apple stores in Liverpool (unless the one in the Docks has closed recently) but I hate looking in them, always want to spend money I don't have

I think the postage for it might be a bit expensive

Holy moly thread resurrection Batman.
Last September, I searched a bag brought into custody for a prisoner who was being deported by Immigration. In said bag there was a box of aftershave, in the bottom of the box under the bottle was hidden a bag of weed! The guy who brought it in was invited to come back to the station by the Custody Sgt and got arrested for being concerned in the supply of drugs. After interview it got NFA'd as he genuinely didn't know it was there. The custody Sgt told the Custody Inspector who apparently told the Reliance Contract Manager because yesterday I got £25 worth of High Street Vouchers under the "exceptional work in a single case" reward system. \o/ I'll be browsing the shelves at HMV tomorrow!

Well done you. Now don't go planting 'evidence' to conveniently find, will you?
The one in the Docks is/was a fake (Apple distributor, not real Apple), so not sure what their CS would be like. Plus, while I was there, they got in trouble with the Docks management. Oops. |
