But you don't understand girls (nobody does) and that doesn't stop you!
It's actually not complicated at all, just badly explained. Well, with 3.0 and 3.0.1 that was the case, no idea what'll happen for 3.0.1. |

It's not about that at all really. I now couldn't do without some of the features I've got...SSH, Five Icon Dock, SBSettings for quick access to Wifi/Bluetooth/Push/Location/etc toggles, Contact Pictures, Themes plus loads of others I've probably forgotten.

The guy that wrote a Mac app for that might not be so happy though. Admittedly it required a jailbroken iPhone so Apple's solution is better.

I'm sure for a power user like you it's useful, for me, I just want to get my email, browse the net, and have a cool easy user interface and an ipod built into one - iphone is ideal for my needs! Oh and it makes calls too! I do use some apps (only got a handful) which are useful to me but I don't really customise my phones, or my computers that much - it's not my thang. I don't like fiddling with things to get extra functionality which a) I don't really need and b) could potentially **** up the phone. don't get me wrong I understand why you and others need to do it, it's just lost on me and would serve me no purpose.

That's cool
Just wanted to point out that even if I couldn't get "free" apps, I'd still jailbreak.

Yeah I got that - I understand the advantages you can get from it, I just don't think I would get the same for the effort and care needed to do it.

Yes, like Vista.
Finally got my account moved over to the new SIM. Had to fettle with it in my old phone to get iPhone to display the right phone number, but it's done. PS - thanks for the SBSettings tip. Installed. |
