I cancelled it after a guy from Play hung up on me. Ordered from Game instead, £10 more but I have reward points. It's also guaranteed to be here on release, game are normally very good for me, and often deliver the day before

Hmmmm, I'll ring up tomorrow if the order status hasn't changed at all. Maybe because they're sending the instruments via Parcelforce they have to send them earlier. Fingers still crossed for a Friday delivery anyway.
