The average user will get nowhere near that per month. For mobile data, I've not even hit 700MB since getting the phone. Most of my stuff is done through home/work wifi.

I dont have an iphone but do use my 5800 a hell of a lot on the internet. I dont go over about 300 mg in a month. I do similar as Desmo says where possible, and use free wifi as well.

Can you link me up please, as all I can find on the vodafone site is:-

A) £30/month for 18 months = 75 anytime minutes and 250 inclusive texts. Phone cost=£99

B) £35/month for 18 months = 300 anytime minutes and unlimited texts. Phone cost=£59

You can get the allowance in "B" for £30/month, but only on a 24 month contract unless I'm on the wrong page here?

Looks like if you then click pre-order under each iPhone it comes up with the plans depending on which phone you're after.

Kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttteeeeeeee!!!

I've just seen this on the blue place, thought it might interest you (the bit about unlimited vodafone to vodafone calls) when you go to sort your iphone out.

After a few months of agonising, I rang Orange up the other day to see if they could do anything for me and they said they're completely non-negotiable with the iPhone deal and couldn't even take £50 off the phone to match the Vodafone deal or keep my current tariff. I went through to retentions, who didn't even bother trying to talk me out of it and they're sending out my PAC code in the next couple of days. I'm a customer who pays their flat tariff rate every month, so I'm not suprised they're not bothered about keeping me.

I've spoken to lots of people and decided that I want an iPhone and should really go for the 3GS 8GB. By getting a HTC, I wouldn't save much money to be honest, not enough to make it worth not having an iPhone anyway. The phone cost is £149, which is a bit steep, but with Quidco & trading in my old phone it comes down to £84. Line rental (18 months) is £35 for 600 tests & 500 mins. Unfortunately, the 150 minutes wasn't quite enough for me, so I didn't go for the £30pm contract. I can downgrade the contract after 9 months if I want/need to.

Not ordered it yet because I'm waiting for my PAC code to come through (and hoping Orange reduce the price of their phones by £50), but am hoping to by the end of the week.

Yeah ORange didn't try and keep me either despite being a customer for 8 years or so. Ah well, not bothered, O2 have been fine for me. I do regret getting the 8Gb one now though, wish I had gone for the 16Gb as I've run out of room!

Sounds like you're on the same contract - do you want a referral number (refer a friend through work contract since we're on their top 50 list) i have 1 more invite out, and it should get you a 30% discount on your line rental AFAIK.

Baddass used it and i think it worked for him - though he never confirmed!

I'm going with Vodafone Will, not O2. But thanks nonetheless, that would have been very useful!
